Tiny Tim made a holiday toast in the “Christmas Carol”
Here’s to all of us,
God bless us everyone!
Short, simple, and sweet.
I’m not very good with giving holiday toasts - so if I do, I generally try to follow those three s’s.
Of course, you might choose to be a little more verbose in your toasts at the holidays - perhaps a measure of how much wine you’ve had yourself.
If you’re going to give a Christmas toast - here are some other things you can use:
- Give thanks - this is what it’s all about anyways
- Highlight the future - perhaps it’s looking bright, talk about goals
- Remember special things from the year - these always bring smiles or tears
- Remember people not with you anymore
- Share successes from the previous year - they don’t have to be yours personally either, perhaps somebody close to you has had a big success
- Give thanks - it’s the most important
Good luck!
