I used to never watch much television. But now we have a DVR (Digital Video Recorder) - a Tivo. It’s great - though now I watch way too much television. But at least I’ve cut out the commercials! I can now watch an hour long show in about 40 minutes. It’s like speed reading. I generally have the DVR record my shows and then I’ll watch them as I’m browsing through my blog reader, or as I’m writing a blog post.

So here’s what I’ve got it set to record every week:

Stargate SG-1 - Yes, I’m a big sci-fi fan/geek. I love this show, though I have to admit that I’ve recently become more attached to it’s spinoff:

Stargate Atlantis - And now that Carter is on leading the expedition, yes!

The Ultimate Fighter VI - Matt Hughes is such a dick. I’d love to see Serra beat him in December on the final, but that’s probably just a dream for both of us. Who knows though?

Making Menudo - Ok - so I was flipping channels one day and came across this one and kind of had to keep watching it. It’s so absurd that I had to keep watching it - I’m generally not a big fan of the ‘Making The Band’ type shows, but since this one is Menudo - why not?

I Love New York 2 - Another ridiculous one. It’s so interesting to see how people interact in these things that I sometimes can’t take my eyes off of the screen…

America’s Most Smartest Model - One of my favorite reality shows - maybe because it has Ben Stein who I love. He’s hilarious. I love it when he makes fun of people and they have no clue what the hell he is talking about.

Bionic Woman - Well, I don’t know how I got onto this one…

Kitchen Nightmares - I love Hell’s Kitchen and Gordon Ramsey! This is great - it’s like a season of Hell’s Kitchen every week. Chef Ramsey is such a dick - but he’s always right about people, and they always end up breaking down and thanking him - it’s hilarious watching him tear these people apart.

The Office - The best sitcom on t.v. right now.

I think that’s it. Probably too much. But, I’ve become a tivo junkie. I at least try to do something productive while I’m watching the shows - like write, update the blogs, eat some pizza, etc…
