Yes, you read it right - free! Well, free in Vegas isn’t that hard. The casinos of Sin City love giving things away for free - in fact, I read someplace that over 3 million dollars in freebies are given away each and every day by the casinos. That’s a lot of free drinks.

Well, if you’re in Vegas and you need something to do, something that doesn’t involve doubling down or shelling out $150 bucks to see “O” at the Bellagio, there are still plenty of things to do that won’t cost you a cent.

1. The Sirens of TI

Nightly at Treasure Island you can see a bunch of scantily clad girls dance around a Pirate ship all the while firing their cannons and shaking their booties at the pirates across the way. The show at Treasure Island plays four times a night, and is free. It’s located out in the large lake in front of the hotel and casino. Shows are at 5:30, 7, 8:30, and 10 every night. Admission is free and there’s even a bar if you need a frosty beverage while taking in the show.

2. The Fountains of the Bellagio

One of the more famous sights in Vegas - you’ve probably already seen the fountains at the Bellagio in some Las Vegas movie, or the beginning of some television show about Vegas. But they’re still worth seeing in person. Music plays and the fountains dance and the people oh and ah daily. They play every hour, sometimes every half hour - basically all the time.

3. The Fremont Street Experience

Down on Fremont Street they have the largest LCD screen in the world. It’s about oh, 3 or 4 blocks long and acts as a canopy across Fremont Street. Light shows play across it every evening on the hour starting at 8. While you’re there, be sure to pick a deep fried twinkie from the slot casino Mermaids.
